This study analyzed the processes involved in the redesigning and sculpting of Takoradi Technical University’s heraldic crest in cement.
This study explored the use of metallic yarns with cotton and rayon yarns on a manual broadloom to weave fabrics for bridal wear. A twelve-yard fabric, with a lozenge motif, was woven using blue and purple yarns with golden metallic accents. The fabric was made into outfits for a bridal party, creating an illusion of grandeur with the reflective qualities of the gold yarns. This innovative approach highlighted the potential for traditional Ghanaian weaving in modern high-end fashion.

Unlike the Fourier theory that lacks scaling and translation parameters, the wavelet theory provides a new platform for the so-called de-oising workflow where noise in a signal or set of data is reduced. This work demonstrates how the wavelet transform can be used as a de-noising tool to denoise pressure transient data for PTA. The target is to create a smoother yet representative data pattern out of a noisy set of data. Two flow regimes were clearly identified from a noisy set of pressure transient data – spherical and radial flow regimes. The data points were then fitted to simple mathematical models describing spherical and radial flows. The p-values from the Chi-squared distributions were less than 0.05, indicating a perfect fit of the data points to the models.

The study examined the resources, available software, attitudes, and challenges of teachers and learners in using computer technology in 10 Senior High Schools in Cape Coast.
The Ghacem and Nzima-Mensah halls, two halls of residence on the main campus of TTU, were assessed to identify facilities and satisfaction levels of residents. Indoor thermal comfort was also measured, revealing inadequate car parks and study rooms, with residents dissatisfied with room sizes and washrooms.
The study investigated the processes involved in the redesigning and sculpting of the TTU Heraldic crest and analysed the choices made as well as the philosophies behind the decision. Being studio-based, the study employed aesthetico-action and descriptive research. It indicated that the creation of the heraldic crest preserved the school’s identity and values. The study concluded that sculpting the heraldic crest embodied rich Ghanaian values, which should inspire Ghanaian sculptors when producing significant art pieces.
